Holy Crapola... over six months since I wrote a journal entry, let alone did anything constructive with this account. Now that I've "settled" after the relocation interstate, gotten over the whole Christmas holiday saga, and put some new perspective on things, I shall endeavour to fire up the DA work again and get some creative imagery happening. I started by adding a self portrait (myspace stylez) last night which was taken on my phone camera, in a rather drunken manner, at the Union Hotel (I think?) on the night of my work's end of year lunch. That was certainly a rather substantial 14 hours of 'celebrating the festive season'... anywho...

The second round of portrait photos were added back on 30 May (sorry I didn't write anything up for it). Michelle Ward and I spent a few hours rearranging the furniture in my house to make some space for the shots to be taken. I'm pretty happy with the results, and as you can see, I've done some minor tinkering with crop/colour/contrast, but nothing substantial (since I don't have the skills to do it!!) I've just come back from 4 days in Sydney too - the photos from that trip are in the Landscapes gallery. Once again, minor adjustments with colour and contrast. Just a quick update for those of you who peruse this page... Over the last few days I've been collecting some examples of work that I'd like to have Michelle try in our next photo shoot (Friday 31 May). We've got a few hours to spend at my place and I'd like to achieve some of the more abstract/dark and risque photos I've been yearning for. I've updated my accessory kit to include some blingish jewellery and lots of satin and lace to go with the corsets and stockings. I'm thinking a range of shots with varying levels of dark eye make-up, corsets, gloves, nudity, curly hair, straight hair, wet hair, sheets, lace, satin.... I'm not entirely
